Job Description

Ladysmith Wholehealth Drugstore and more incorporated DBA Parksville Pharmacy is seeking 1 Pharmacy supplyassistant at 383 Alberni Hwy Unit 1, Parksville, BC, V9P 1J9. (Even Though this full-time position we encourage part time job seekers to apply aswell). Salary is 20 dollars per hour. No of hours are 40 per week.

 

Job Description:

 

Assess prescriptions for completeness

Enter clients’ information and prescription details in databases

Help pharmacists and other pharmacy staff with preparing, packaging andlabelling of pharmaceutical products

Assist in maintaining inventories of medications and pharmaceuticalproducts

May Compound oral solutions, ointments and creams

May process medical billing information

May price and stock items on shelves.

Education Requirements:

Pharmacy assistants usually require completion of secondary school andseveral months of experience or completion of a Pharmacy Assistant

college program, ranging from six to twelve months
