COMPANY OVERVIEW: Kal Tire is seeking an Auto Service Technician (NOC 72410) to join their team in Prince Rupert, BC, Canada.

JOB TITLE: Auto Service Technician – Automotive Service Technician (72410)

LOCATION: 943 Chamberlin Avenue, Prince Rupert, BC V8J 4J4, Canada

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Permanent; Full-time

ANTICIPATED START DATE: As soon as Possible

VACANCIES: 1

WAGE: $32.00 per Hour

HOURS OF EMPLOYMENT: 40 hours/Week

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections;
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles;
Conduct vehicle inspections to identify necessary repairs’
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair services performed;
Communicate effectively with customers regarding their vehicle’s condition and recommended services;
Stay updated on technical information and techniques to enhance job performance;

EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Completion of College program in Automotive Service is required;
At least 1-2 year’s experience in Automotive Service is required;
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify vehicle issues;
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components;
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment;
English language is required;
