Job Description
Teriyaki Boys in Squamish is currently looking for a permanent and full-time Cook.
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Prepare and cook not only Japanese-style hotdogs, but Japanese food menus.
– Ensure quality preparation of all menu items and continually check the quality of foods and cooked products
– Oversee kitchen operations
– Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
– Keep sanitized work area
Education, Skills and Experiences required:
– Completion of Secondary School
– At least two years of work experience of food preparation in commercial environment
– Ability to maintain high quality control standards under high pressure and fast paced environment
– Must be able to work in fast-paced environment and under pressure
– Strong organizational skills and multi-tasking skills
Language: Communication skills in English
Compensation: $18.00 – $20.00 / hour (based on experience / qualifications) plus tips/gratuities, staff meals, staff discount, 4% Vacation Pay
Work location: Various Locations around Squamish B.C. as we are operating Food Truck (Business Address: 1109 Copper Drive, Britannia Beach, BC V8B 1J2)
