Job Description

Start date: Starts as soon as possible.

Term of Employment: Permanent Position, 40 hours per week – Overtime available after 44 hours per week

Job details: Schedule varies based on events: morning, day evening, weekends, holidays

Location of Work: 40 Bay St, Scotiabank Arena, Event Level, Toronto, M5J 2X2, Ontario

Responsibilities

·       Prepare and cook complete meals or individuals’ dishes and foods.

·       Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies.

·       Inspect kitchens and food service areas.

·       Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.

·       Order supplies and equipment.

·       Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.

·       Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment.

·       Clean kitchen and work areas.

·       Organize and manage buffets and banquets.

·       Manage kitchen operations.
