Position: Housekeeper (NOC: 65310)

Terms of Employment:    Morning, Day

Salary:   $18.00/hr.; 30 hours per week

Anticipated Start Date(at the latest in 3 months):   As soon as possible

Education:   No degree, certificate or diploma

Experience:   Will train

Languages:   English

Work Setting:   Work in employer’s/client’s home

Duties and Responsibilities:

Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors

Dust furniture

Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture

Make beds and change sheets

Distribute clean towels and toiletries

Stock linen closet

Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances

Pick up debris and empty trash containers

Launder clothing and household linens

Mend clothing and linens

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Wash windows, walls and ceilings

Clean changing rooms and showers

Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available

Work Location Information:   Main intersection is Victoria Park Avenue and Lawrence Ave East North York, ON M4A 2J5
