Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Food Service Supervisor to join our team at our Dairy Queen Grill & Chill located at SK-35 &, 12th Ave W, Nipawin, SK S0E 1E0. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring efficient day-to-day operations of the store.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion, and serve food
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef based on customer orders
  • Establish work schedules and procedures
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Ensure food and service meet quality control standards

Job Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school (required)
  • At least 1 year of experience in food service or in a supervisory role
  • Ability to supervise and lead a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to food service in Saskatchewan

Compensation and Hours:

Wage: $16.00 per hour
Hours: 32 hours per week, full-time
Overtime Pay: $24.00 per hour (after 8 hours/day or 40 hours/week)
Vacation Pay: 2 weeks/year or 4% as per provincial standards
