Job Description

Mountview Construction Ltd. located at 12447 64a Avenue Surrey, BC V3W 5Y1 needs 1 full- time, Drywall Installer to join their team as soon as possible.

Job Duties:

Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
Fill joints, nail indentations, holes and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife
Tape over joints using taping machine and embed tape in compound
Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints
Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
Job Requirement:

·         Completion of secondary school,

·         3 years and more experience in related field.

 

Terms of Employment: Full Time, Permanent
Must be willing to travel to work sites all over lower Mainland BC.

Wages: $37.00 /Hourly. Overtime starts after 40 hours per week.
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Personal suitability: Team Player, Reliability
Language: English
