Description

Position: Home Support Worker

Location: 65 Skymark, North York, Ontario M2H 3N9

Wage: 26.00 hourly/45 hours per week

Position: Permanent employment/Full time

Hours of Work: Early morning (6Am to 12;30PM) Evening (4:00 PM to 6:30PM)

Availability: Starts as soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
or equivalent experience

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Location: On site; Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT acondition of employment;
Room and board provided; Staff accommodation available; Staff accommodation provided:; Urban area; Work in employer’s/client’s home; Employer’s home

Responsibilities
Tasks:
1. Administer bedside and personal care
2. Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
3. Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
4. Launder clothing and household linens
5. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
6. Provide companionship
7. Provide personal care
8. Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Certificates:
CPR Certificate
First Aid Certificate

Cuisine:
Knowledge in Kosher, Hungarian, and Israeli food is an asset

Transportation:
Must Valid driver’s licence
