Job Description
Avis Insulation Ltd. located at 14722 72A Avenue Surrey, BC V3S 9L8 Canada is currently looking for 1 Full-time Insulator to join their team asap.
Job Duties:
• Read and interpret drawings and specifications to determine insulation requirements.
• Determine the amounts and types of insulation needed, and methods of installation, based on factors such as location, surface shape, and equipment use.
• Measure and cut insulation to fit into walls and around pipes.
• Apply sealants or other protective coating
• Apply and secure insulation using spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, taping and other application and installation methods.
• Fit insulation around obstructions, and shape insulating materials and protective coverings as required.
• Install vapor barriers or plastic barriers to protect insulation from moisture
• Apply waterproofing cement over insulating materials to finish surfaces.
Job Requirement:
• Completion of Secondary school
• 3-4 years of experience in the related field.
• Willing to travel to various sites in Lower Mainland, BC.
Language: English
Wage: $37.00 per hour for 40 hours per week. Overtime will start after 40 hours a week.
Job Location: 14722 72A Ave, Surrey, BC V3S 9L8 & Various locations in Lower Mainland, BC.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
Physically demanding, Bending, crouching, kneeling, Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure.
