DEVONWEST SHEETMETAL LTD is looking for a dedicated Sheet Metal Worker!
Job details
Location: 4890-206 STREET, Langley, BC, V3A 5C3
Work location: On site
Salary: 36.60 hourly / 40 hours per week
Terms of employment: Permanent employment, Full time
Early morning, Evening, Morning, Day, Overtime required
Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Work setting: Various locations
Responsibilities
· Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine work requirements
· Measure and mark sheet metal according to template
· Operate metalworking machines to cut, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
· Operate laser cutters
· Grind and buff seams, joints and rough surfaces
· Inspect products to ensure quality and conformity to specification
· Cut materials using power tools or by hand
· Assemble, erect and install hoisting and rigging equipment
· Fit and join sheet metal parts
· Install sheet metal products according to specifications and building codes
· Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Credentials
· Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
· Fall Arrest Protection Training Course
