Job Description
Construction Craft Laborer for a growing and busy company located in Dalmeny SK. Rate of pay is $31.00/hour. Full time hours- 40 hours per week with possibility of working plenty of overtime. Company will pay 1.5 times the regular rate for any hours work in excess of 40/week.
Duties includes:
– Load and unload construction materials and move materials to work areas
– Level earth to fine grade specifications
– Assist tradesperson in construction activities
– Assist heavy equipment operators to secure special attachments to equipment, signal operators to guide them in moving equipment and provide assistance in other activities
– Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites using rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows and other equipment
– Direct traffic at or near construction sites and perform other activities at construction sites as directed.
– Drive lighter, special purpose trucks
– Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, light breakes, cold storage and other equipment
– Perform brake adjustment and perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle and may be asked to perform preventative maintenance

Work Location: Saskatoon, Dalmeny, Martensville and surrounding areas
Preference will be given to candidates who have at least 3-5 years experience assisting with hydrovac and directional drilling operations, class 3A drivers license and safety tickets as well as knowledge of the following equipment relating to Hydrovac, drilling and equipment operation. Selected candidate will also be required to provide clean drivers abstract, criminal record and drug test.
