Dump truck driver
Company: Akal Demolition & Excavating
Address: 6257 133 Street, Surrey, BC, V3X 1M3
2 positions available, 30 Hours per Week, Flexible Hours
Wage: $31.00/hour
Job Type: Full time – Temporary, to start as soon as possible
NOC 73300
Language: English
Location of work: Various locations in Surrey, BC

Relocation costs covered by employer

Duties:

·         Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

·         Drive lighter, special purpose trucks

·         Load and unload goods

·         Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment

·         Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle

·         Perform preventive maintenance

·         Receive and relay information to central dispatch

·         Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption

·         Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Requirements:
Completion of secondary school
At least 1 year of experience

Valid driver’s licence
