Bison Group Management Ltd o/a Pemberton Hotel is hiring a Liquor Store Manager (NOC 60020)

Location: 7423 Frontier St, Pemberton, BC V0N 2L0

Employment: Permanent, full-time (35 hrs/wk)

Salary: $44.72/hr

About the role

Lead the day-to-day operations of our on-site liquor store, ensuring compliant, efficient, and customer-focused service while meeting sales and margin targets.

Key duties

  • Plan, organize, and evaluate store operations; set sales goals/KPIs; manage budgets and cost controls.
  • Manage staff and staffing needs: hire/train/schedule, assign duties, monitor performance, and enforce policies.
  • Manage inventory and pricing: product selection, forecasting, ordering (LDB/vendors), receiving, cycle counts, shrink control, and merchandising/planograms.
  • Customer service: evaluate and improve service standards; handle requests and resolve issues/escalations.
  • Compliance & loss prevention: ensure adherence to BC liquor legislation, ID checks, and store security procedures.
  • Liaise with hotel operations/management on promotions, events, and cross-department needs.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years retail experience including management/supervisory responsibilities (liquor, grocery, or related).
  • Secondary school completion.
  • Solid English for staff and customer communication.
