We are hiring : Director of Advertising
Employer: AVC

Location:
215 Spadina Avenue suite 400, Toronto, ON
M5T 2C7
Work Location: Hybrid (in-person and remote)

Salary: $57.69/hour — 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Familiarity with Asian Markets is required
• Analyze market research data to guide business decisions and activities
• Conduct economic and commercial surveys to identify new markets
• Develop and implement communication and marketing strategies
• Direct teams on required research and key data collection
• Evaluate and optimize communication programs and marketing strategies
• Publicize events, workshops, and meetings for outreach or fundraising
• Oversee, train, hire, motivate, and supervise staff (5–10 employees)
• Manage contracts and market business services
• Plan and control budgets and expenditures
• Lead and assess departments responsible for communication programs, media relations, and advertising campaigns
• Act as organizational spokesperson
• Advise clients on advertising and promotional strategies
• Respond to written and oral inquiries
• Assist with brochures, reports, newsletters, and other materials
• Provide post-sale client support
