Job Description
Kimshaker’s FoodHub Corporation located at 5633 Senlac street Vancouver, British Columbia is looking for 1 Cook. We have 2 restaurants (4091 Kingsway Burnaby and Royal City Centre 610 6 Street suite 151 New Westminster) that make and serve Filipino cuisine. This job position is permanent and full time for 8 hours per day and 40 hours per week.
The Job Duties for this position will be:
Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Prepare and cook special meals as instructed by chef
Schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
Oversee kitchen operations
Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
Set up and oversee buffets
Clean kitchen and work area when required
Plan menus, determine size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs, and monitor and order supplies
Hire and train kitchen staff when needed
Job Requirements:
English is required as a language
Minimum one year of experience in Filipino Cuisine is required
What we offer:
$36.60 per hour
4% vacation pay
