Job Description
Job Title: Child Care Provider – Private Home
Wage: $21/Hourly
Hours: 35-40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent Employment FT
Start Date: As soon as possible
Work Schedule: Afternoons (after school), Weekends
Number of Positions Available: 1
Language Requirement: English (additional languages are an asset)
Education Requirement: Min. Secondary School Graduation Diploma and prefer Post Secondary School Graduation Diploma or above.
Work Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in child care, early childhood education, or a related field
Work setting: 1. Private household (Burnaby, BC, Canada)
2. Care for an 8-years old boy
On site: Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Job Description/Responsibilities:
· Provide attentive and responsible care for an 8-year-old boy
· Pick up and drop off child from school and extracurricular activities
· Prepare and assist with children’s meal and snacks
· Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
· Supervise child’s daily activities and support positive behavior and development
· Assist with light housekeeping duties such as tidying, laundry, and cleaning child’s play and meal areas
· Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
