Job Description
MBWA Restaurant, Inc. o/a Mr. Mike’s Steakhouse & Bar is hiring 1 Cook (NOC6322). Wage $18.00 per hour. Permanent full time 30-35 hours per week. Completion of secondary school required. 3-5 years experience as a Cook required. After 6 months employment Dental Insurance, and Extended Medical Insurance is offered. After 2 years employment Pension Plan is offered. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays. Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, work under pressure, attention to details, handling heavy loads. Additional Skills: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerance. Duties: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, plan menus, determne size of food portions, estimate food requirements and costs. Monitor & order supplies. Inspect kitchen and food service areas. Train staff in the preparation, cooking and handling of food, order supplies & equipment, clean kitchen and work areas.
