Job opportunity: Food Service Supervisor
Employer: Arivle Enterprises Ltd o/a Tim Hortons
Job location: 4512 Lougheed Hwy, Burnaby, BC V5C 3Z4
Position type: Permanent, Full-Time (30-40 hours per week)
Work schedule: Shift work, including weekends
Wage: $20.50 per hour
Minimum requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a food service or fast-food restaurant environment;
- Good communication skills in English;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Secondary school completion required.
Main duties:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of fast-food restaurant employees;
- Assign staff to duties;
- Estimate and order ingredients and supplies;
- Hire and train of new employees;
- Prepare and oversee work schedules;
- Ensure food and service meet quality control standards and safety procedures;
- Maintain records of stock, sales, and inventory for control purposes;
- Resolve customer complaints;
- Ensure staff maintains a courteous attitude toward customers at all times.
