Job Title: Bookkeeper (N0C 12200)
Company: LS LIFE SKILLS THERAPY SERVICES lNC.
Positions Available: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, 1 year
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible

Language: English
Education: High School Certificate is required. A college diploma will be an asset.
Wage Rate: $28.00 /hour
Experience: One or more years of experience required, preferably in a medical or healthcare setting.
Job Duties:
· Maintain accurate financial records for services rendered.
· Process invoices, payments, and reimbursements efficiently and accurately.
· Reconcile accounts, ensuring consistency and precision.
· Collaborate with healthcare providers and administrative staff to resolve any billing discrepancies.
· Stay updated on medical coding and billing regulations to ensure compliance.
· Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
· Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
· Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
· Post journal entries and prepare trial balance of books
· Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports.
· Processing GST, PST and other tax payments
· Filing WCB and WorkSafe BC documentation
Work Conditions & Physical Capabilities:
· Attention to detail
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Strong understanding of medical billing procedures, codes, and terminology.
· Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism
