Hefty Construction Ltd. is a Victoria-based construction company located at 320 Songsparrow Place Victoria, British Columbia V9C 0P6. We are looking for 4 Carpenter Framer

 

Employer Name: Hefty Construction Ltd.

Job Position: Carpenter Framer

Salary: $32.00 per hour for 35 hours/week

Vacancy: 4

Employment Type: Full-time Permanent.

Start Date: As soon as possible

Languages: English

Education: Completion of secondary school is required

Experience: 1 to less than 7 months

Work Location Information: Various locations

Job Duties:

·       Read & Interpret blueprints, drawings & sketches to determine specification;

·       Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

·       Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

·       Build house foundations, Construct building framework including wall, beams, partitions, floor, doorframes, ceilings;

·       Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures;

·       Supervise apprentices and other construction workers.
