Job Description

Need a Skilled, Reliable and Dedicated Painter to join our work team at Pine Tree Woodworks Ltd. in Surrey, British Columbia

Number of Position(s): 1

Location: Surrey, BC

Pay Scale: $28.00 per hour

Number of Hours: 40 hours per Week

Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Language Requirement: English

Experience: 2 years and more

Education: High School (Grade 12)

Job Task(s):

  1. Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted using Primer, lacquer
  2. Repair cracks and other wooden deformities
  3. Mix paint to desired colour and texture
  4. Apply paint, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces using various techniques (Brush, Spray Pump, Roller etc.)
  5. Check the proper thickness of plating using micrometers, calipers or other devices
  6. Clean and maintain equipment
  7. Paint small items and apply touch-ups using paint brushes
  8. Prepare and apply stencils, decals or other decorative items on finished products
  9. Prepare and mix painting solutions according to formulas or specifications
  10. Estimate costs and materials

Attribute(s): Reliable, dedicated, physically fit with good eye-hand coordination, ability to work in confined, odorous spaces
