Position: Automotive mechanic’s helper
Wage Rate: 25.00 per hour – 40 hours/week

Job Duties:
· Move tools, equipment and other materials to and from work areas
· Hold stakes during surveying activities
· Signal safety procedures to other workers and to the general public
· Clean machines and immediate work areas
· Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed
· Assist in main automotive services (checking, replacing, repairing): brakes, coolant systems, air conditioning, exhaust systems, powertrain, computer/electrical, transmission/clutches, drivetrain, fluid changes, tires, battery, wheel alignments…
Experience in Area:
· Diesel engines
· Tires, brake, wheel alignments
· Fuel and emission system
· Exhaust system
· Battery system
· Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system
