Job Description
Pagnotta Inc. is looking for 1 HSE (Health, safety and environment) coordinator. This position will be full time with 8 hours a day and 35-40 hours per week. Our office is located at Suite 1500, 701 West Georgia Street Vancouver, BC.
The Job Duties for this position will be:
Conduct workplace audits and investigations of safety concerns, incidents and accidents
Conduct workplace inspections to ensure that equipment, materials and production processes do not present a safety or health hazard to employees
Develop and implement health and safety programs, including standard operating procedures, policies and training to mitigate risk, optimize worker’s health and safety
Foster a positive occupational health and safety culture
Ensure procedures on workplaces do not contravene organization and government health and safety standards and regulations
Provide training to employers and employees on issues of workplace safety
Communicate, engage and influence decision-makers and workers to ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations
Job Requirements:
English is required as a language
Minimum 4 years of experience in the mid to large scale commercial construction projects is required
A bachelor’s degree in the similar field is required
What we offer:
