We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Caregiver to provide dedicated in-home support for an elderly individual with a right-leg mobility impairment. This role requires a professional who can deliver attentive senior care, assist with daily mobility needs, and maintain a safe, nurturing, and organized home environment.
Key Responsibilities
Senior Personal Care & Mobility
Personal Care Assistance: Provide support with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Mobility Support: Assist with mobility transfers (e.g., bed to wheelchair), walking assistance, and range-of-motion exercises to accommodate the right-leg impairment.
Health Monitoring: Administer medications on schedule, track vital signs, and monitor for changes in physical or cognitive health.
Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversation, reading, and hobbies to promote mental well-being and social engagement.
Household Support & Administration
Meal Preparation: Prepare nutritious meals tailored to the individual’s specific dietary needs.
Light Housekeeping: Maintain clean, safe living areas, handle laundry, and keep the kitchen tidy.
Qualifications & Skills
Screening: Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening.
Key Skills: Strong communication, patience, emotional intelligence, and physical ability to assist with mobility transfers.
