Salary: $33.60 per hour

Hours: 40 hours per week

F & S LOGISTICS LIMITED is seeking dependable and safety oriented Long Haul Truck Drivers to join our transportation team. The successful candidates will be responsible for transporting freight efficiently while ensuring compliance with transportation regulations and company safety standards.

Job Duties

·      Operate and drive tractor trailer trucks and other commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials

·      Plan travel routes and adjust schedules using GPS systems and navigation tools to ensure efficient deliveries

·      Conduct pre trip en route and post trip vehicle inspections

·      Monitor vehicle performance and inspect tires brakes lights and other equipment to ensure safe operation

·      Perform routine maintenance checks and arrange for repairs when necessary

·      Carry out minor roadside repairs and emergency troubleshooting when required

·      Maintain accurate records of cargo details mileage fuel consumption and hours of service

·      Communicate with dispatch regarding pickup schedules delivery updates and route changes

·      Ensure loads are properly secured and cargo is transported safely

·      Drive as part of a two person team or convoy when operationally required

·      Follow all applicable transportation safety regulations and company procedures

Requirements

Secondary school graduation certificate

Valid Class 1A or equivalent commercial drivers licence

Previous truck driving experience is an asset

Knowledge of driver logbooks and transportation documentation

Strong attention to safety and regulatory compliance

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Criminal record check may be required

Work Conditions

Frequent travel and extended periods on the road

Physically demanding work environment

Occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds

Flexible schedule including mornings evenings nights weekends and holidays
