Liquid Rock Concrete Construction & Design Ltd., based in Vancouver, BC is focused on delivering a superior level of quality workmanship to its clients. We are currently looking for 2 Brick and Stone Masons to join our team as soon as possible.

Position: Brick and Stone Mason

Job Type: Full-time; Permanent

Number of Positions: 2

Salary: $38.00 per hour

Expected start date: As soon as possible

Work locations: Various locations in Vancouver BC, and other areas of Lower Mainland (BC) as per the company’s work contracts with its clients.

Position duties:

Read plans and blueprints to calculate materials required.
Cut, shape, and trim bricks, blocks, and stones to precise measurements using hand and power tools.
Prepare, position, and lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and related materials to build or repair walls, foundations, and other structures in residential and commercial settings.
Build chimneys and fireplaces for residential or commercial buildings using bricks or other masonry units.
Install bricks, stone, or similar materials to create decorative veneer finishes on walls or other surfaces.
Lay bricks or other masonry units to build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations.

Construct and install prefabricated masonry units.

Position requirements:

Completion of secondary school is required.
Completion of an apprenticeship program in the relevant trade OR three years of work experience in the trade is required.
English communication skills are required.
