Job Description

Position: General farm worker – livestock – NOC 85100

Company: Baarsview Farm Inc.

Location: 40776 Ross Road, Deroche, BC V0M 1G0

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time, On-Site

Wage: $20.00/hr, 40+ hours/week

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: 2 years

Positions Available: 1

Do not need experience, will be trained. Highschool is an asset.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Monitoring animal health
Organize tasks to accomplish the work
Perform livestock feeding
Feed and tend animals
Assist in the development and implementation of farm safety and bio-security procedures
Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed
Maintain livestock performance records
Milk cows
Clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
Perform general farm duties
Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in barns, pens and chicken coops
