Job Description
Your Choice Drywall Taping is seeking an experienced and reliable Drywall Installer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will work on residential and commercial construction projects at various locations in Ontario.

Job Duties
·       Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements.

·       Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.

·       Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs and joists.

·       Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.

·       Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks using joint compound, trowels, and broad knives.

·       Prepare wall and ceiling layouts.

·       Install exterior and interior steel studs.

·       Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall and plaster walls and ceilings using hand and power tools.

·       Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim.

·       Ensure all work is completed according to project specifications and safety requirements.

Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience.

Work Conditions
·       Dusty and noisy work environment.

·       Physically demanding work.

·       Frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling.

·       Handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs).

·       Work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Security and Safety
Criminal record check required.

Transportation
Own vehicle required.
Equipment required
Steel-toed safety boots.
