Assistant Store Manager

Infinique & Natural Beauty Ltd is seeking a driven and experienced Assistant Store Manager to oversee the operations of The Soap Bakery, located at Bower Place:

Unit 143, 4900 Molly Banister Drive, Red Deer, AB T4R 1N9

The Soap Bakery specializes in handcrafted bath, body, and skincare products designed to make self-care fun and enjoyable. Our product range includes artisan soaps, bath treats, skincare products, body care products, and gift items sold through both our retail location and online store. Our mission is to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service while creating a memorable shopping experience.

Position Details:

• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
• Schedule: Shifts, including weekends
• Salary: $80,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing day-to-day store operations, including sales, inventory, and merchandising
• Assist the store manager in overseeing in-store online sales operations, including order processing, fulfillment, inventory coordination, and customer communication
• Monitor sales trends and customer demand, and provide input on product selection and promotions
• Assist with inventory ordering, supplier coordination, and stock control
• Participate in planning, developing and implementing marketing and promotional campaigns to increase sales
• Track store performance, including sales and expenses
• Maintain high standards of customer service and resolve customer concerns
• Support hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members

Qualifications:

• Completion of secondary school is required
• 2-3 years of experience in retail or wholesale trade, including supervisory experience
• Strong proficiency in English and excellent customer service skills
• Experience in beauty, skincare, or wellness retail is an asset
