Job Description
Carleton Ventures Ltd. is currently looking for a permanent and full-time Housekeeping Manager at Adara Hotel.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Manage the operations of the housekeeping department
· Plan and co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and their crews
· Conduct inspections to ensure that departmental standards and health and safety regulations are being met
· Select and purchase equipment and supplies, and maintain inventory
· Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery
· Hire, train and supervise housekeeping staff
· Create, maintain, and adjust housekeeping schedules
Education, skills and experience required:
· Completion of secondary school
· A university degree or college diploma in hospital management, hotel management or business administration is a strong asset but not mandatory
· Several years of experience as a housekeeper including supervisory experience.
Language: Oral and written English skills required
Compensation and Benefits:
$27.00 to $30.00 per hour (based on experience/qualification), 4% vacation pay
