Home Support Worker- Senior Care (NOC 44101)
Location: Victoria, British Columbia

Job Description:
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to provide personalized care and assistance to an elderly senior in a private household. The successful candidate will support daily living activities, ensure safety and comfort, and promote a respectful and dignified environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Daily Living Activities
Provide safe mobility support, including transfers and walking assistance
Prepare and serve nutritious meals according to dietary needs
Administer medications as directed
Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment
Accompany the senior to medical appointments, community activities, and errands
Offer companionship, emotional support, and social engagement
Observe and report any changes in health or behaviour
Follow care plans and emergency procedures
Requirements
Completion of secondary school
Experience is an asset but not required. Training will be provided by the Employer.
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting and assisting with mobility
Strong communication skills and a patient, respectful attitude
Must be comfortable working in a private household setting
