1247446 B.C. LTD. dba Safe & Secure Locksmith is hiring experienced Locksmiths (NOC 72999)

Job offer details:

• Permanent, full-time positions (35-40 hours per week)
• Compensation: $37.00/hr
• Job location: Various client sites throughout Metro Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, BC.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a locksmith.
• Experience providing residential, commercial, automotive, and emergency locksmith services.
• Completion of secondary school.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to safely use locksmith tools and equipment.
• Must be available to work weekends and respond to after-hours emergency service calls as required.

Duties and responsibilities of the role:

• Install, repair, service, and adjust residential, commercial, automotive, and electronic locking systems.
• Cut, duplicate, code, and program keys, including high-security and automotive keys, as well as key fobs and transponder keys.
• Install, repair, replace, and rekey locks, deadbolts, panic bars, door closers, safes, security hardware, and access control devices.
• Open locked doors, safes, and vaults, repair locking mechanisms, and change lock combinations as required.
• Respond to lockouts and emergency service calls, diagnose security issues, and recommend appropriate security solutions.
• Install and service door hardware, security systems, and other related locking and access control products.
• Use specialized locksmith tools, key-cutting machines, and electronic programming equipment to perform installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Maintain work orders, service records, and inventory of parts and supplies.
• Provide customers with information on lock maintenance, key control, and security products.
• Train and assist junior locksmiths or apprentices as required.
