CHILD CARE PROVIDER – PRIVATE HOME

Position: Child Care Provider – Private Home
Employment Type: Full-time, Term or Contract
Salary: $19.00 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

Job Description
We are seeking a responsible, caring, reliable, and experienced Child Care Provider to provide attentive care and supervision to children in a private home. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment while assisting with the children’s daily routines and needs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Supervise and care for children in the employer’s private home.
Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment for the children.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties related to the children’s care.
Wash, iron, and press children’s clothing and household linens.
Keep accurate records of the children’s daily activities and health information.
Monitor and support the children’s daily routines and well-being.
Ensure the children are properly supervised and cared for at all times.
Perform other related child care duties as required.
Employment Requirements
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience in child care or a related field.
Ability to communicate effectively in English or French.
References may be required.
Ability to work responsibly and independently in a private home environment.
