Job Type: Full-time, Term or Contract
Work Location: On-site (Employer’s Home)
Salary: $19.27 per hour
Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

Introduction
Beatrice Betito is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Support Worker to provide quality care and daily living assistance to a person with a disability in a private household. This position is ideal for an individual who is patient, dependable, and committed to promoting the client’s comfort, dignity, independence, and overall well-being. The successful candidate will play an important role in supporting the client’s personal care needs while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming home environment.
Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge; however, residing in the employer’s home is not a condition of employment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer medications as directed.
Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
Provide personal care and companionship.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Launder, wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
Support the client’s daily routine with patience, respect, and professionalism.
Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Two (2) to less than three (3) years of related work experience.
Ability to communicate in English or French.
Medical examination may be required.
Work Environment
Non-smoking workplace.
Work is performed in the employer’s private residence.
Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge.
Travel expenses paid by the employer.
Repetitive tasks may be required.
