Job Type: Full-time, Term or Contract
Work Location: On-site (Employer’s Home)
Salary: $19.27 per hour
Hours of Work: 30 hours per week

Introduction
Ponciana Rivera is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and dedicated Family Caregiver to provide quality care and daily living assistance to an elderly person in a private household. This position is ideal for an individual who is patient, respectful, and committed to promoting the client’s comfort, dignity, safety, and overall well-being. The successful candidate will play an essential role in assisting with personal care, meal preparation, household tasks, and companionship while helping maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment.
Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge; however, residing in the employer’s home is not a condition of employment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer bedside care and personal care.
Administer medications as directed.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
Cook meals according to the client’s dietary needs and preferences.
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
Launder, wash, iron, press, and mend clothing and household linens.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
Assist with daily living activities while promoting the client’s independence and dignity.
Qualifications
Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
One (1) year to less than two (2) years of related caregiving experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Work Environment
Non-smoking workplace.
Work is performed in the employer’s private residence.
Optional live-in accommodation is available at no charge.
Willingness to relocate is an asset.
Public transportation is available.
Repetitive tasks are required.
Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
