Position Details
Title of Position: Door Installer / Serviceman (Overhead Doors & Accessories)
NOC: 73200
Number of Vacancies: 1
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time (40 hours per week; Day, Overtime available)
Start Date: Starts as soon as possible
Language of Work: English
Location(s) of Work: St. Catharines, ON and various job sites throughout the Niagara, Ontario region (Outdoors, At heights, Construction sites)
Wage & Benefits Package
Wage: $23.00 CAD per hour ($47,840.00 – $48,000.00 annually based on standard full-time hours)

Skills & Qualification Requirements
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in overhead door installation, repair, and servicing.
Credentials & Certifications:
Working at Heights Training
Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
Security & Safety Requirements:
Valid driver’s licence
Driving record check (abstract)
Criminal record check
Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, handling heavy loads (Up to 45 kg / 100 lbs), repetitive tasks, attention to detail, ability to work independently.
Tools & Personal Equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, hard hat, gloves.
Job Duties
Install exterior and interior prefabricated products (residential and commercial overhead doors and accessories).
Repair and service exterior and interior prefabricated overhead door products and operators.
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine work requirements.
Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
Prepare and maintain work materials, supplies, hand tools, and power tools.
Load and unload trucks with supplies, panels, and equipment for job sites.
Provide professional customer service and work effectively individually and in team settings.
