We’re Hiring: Banking Accounts Officer
Permanent, Full-Time | Credit Union
Position Overview
KCCU is seeking an experienced and client-focused Banking Accounts Officer to join our team in Kingston, Ontario. In this role, you will open and manage personal and non-personal accounts, assess and process loan and credit applications, and provide members with sound guidance on financial and investment products. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented banking professional who values integrity, accuracy, and outstanding client service.
Location: 795 Gardiners Road, Kingston, ON K7M 7E6 (on-site; no remote work option)
Wage: $36.92 per hour
Hours: 38.5 hours per week
Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
Start Date: As soon as possible

Key Responsibilities
• Complete credit and loan documentation
• Interview applicants for loans
• Open new personal and non-personal accounts, and provide access to automated banking machine, telephone banking, and online banking services
• Research and evaluate loan applicants’ financial status, references, credit history, and ability to repay loans
• Review and update credit and loan files
• Submit credit and loan applications to management
• Review financial literature to identify potential investment opportunities for clients
• Analyze investment projects
Requirements
• Education: College/CEGEP diploma
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in a related role
• Language: English
• Certification: Investment Funds Institute of Canada (IFIC) Accreditation
