Job Description

Box and Lid Inc. located at 2092 Enterprise Way Suite 100B, Kelowna, BC, V1Y 6H7 is looking for 1 full-time and permanent Web Technician. (Even though this is a full-time position, part-time job seekers are encouraged to apply as well.) Salary is $38.40/hr and no of hours are 40 hours/week.

Main Duties:

Install web server hardware and software

Troubleshoot, maintain and upgrade web server hardware and software

implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance

Research and apply meta-data to websites and register websites with search engines

Respond to requests for help and information from website visitors and website designers.

Control and monitor e-mail use, Web navigation, and installed software

Employment requirements:

Completion of a college or other program in computer science, network administration, Web technology or a related field is required.
Experience an asset.
