Wage: $40.00/hour
Hours: 30 hours/week

Main Duties
Jewellery & Gemstones

Fabricate and repair precious and semi-precious metal jewellery
Set precious and semi-precious stones in jewellery mountings
Examine, cut, shape and polish diamonds and precious/synthetic gemstones
Appraise gemstones and diamonds and identify characteristics affecting their value
Watches & Clocks

Clean parts using specialized solutions and ultrasonic/mechanical equipment
Fabricate or fit watch and clock parts
Repair and adjust watches and clocks
Test, adjust and regulate timepiece movements
Supervision

Instruct apprentices
Supervise jewellers or watch repairers
Skills / Attributes

For reviewing resumes, I’d basically treat education + 1 year relevant experience as the first screening layer, then compare their actual experience against jewellery assembly/fabrication, repair, stone setting/gem work, and watch repair.
