Salary: $20/hour

Term of employment: Fulltime (30 – 40 hours/week); Permanent position

Situated at 9801 100 Ave in High Level, Modern Touch Esthetics Nails Salon is a premier destination for nail care and esthetic needs. With skilled technicians, meticulous attention to detail, and a diverse range of nail services, the salon offers a luxurious and satisfying experience.

We are currently looking for nail care technicians to add to our team. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide manicure and pedicure treatments designed to enhance an individual’s appearance.

These vacancies are open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, newcomers, refugees, youths, and others.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Remove old nail polish from fingernails and toes nails, clean nails, shape the ends of nails, push back cuticles, and apply new polish based on clients’ preferences,
• Provide gel and acrylic nail extension,
• Apply artificial nails,
• Recommend various nail designs and nail art to clients,
• Evaluate the condition of clients’ nails and advise them on proper nail care treatments,
• Clean the workstation and keep it organized, clean and safe,
• Welcome, greet clients and maintain customer relationship to encourage repeat nail appointments,
• Schedule and confirm appointments with clients,
• Perform work as requested.

Qualifications:

• High school completion
• Min 1 year of experience as a nail technician
• Attention to detail
• Customer oriented – build and maintain good relationship with customers
• Creative and flexible – develop new designs, customize colors, patterns, and designs as per clients’ requests.
