Responsibilities

Tasks

– Install machinery
– Repair and maintain machinery
– Assist in inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects
– Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications
– Assist in the design of moulds, tools, dies, jigs and fixtures
– Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components and materials
– Prepare and interpret engineering design, drawings and specifications
– Prepare standards and schedules
– Supervise maintenance programs or operation of mechanical plants
– Supervise, monitor and inspect mechanical installations and construction projects
– Test machines and equipment
