Job Description

Three Peaks Banff is a large historic property, nestled minutes away from downtown Banff. Our unique and spacious Lodge has been newly renovated and is the perfect location for families, teams, or groups. We are currently looking to fill the Managing Supervisor position, which oversees the daily operations of the Lodge.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Oversight of the daily operations of the Lodge

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Managing check-ins and check-outs at the Lodge and being on call for customer service

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Coordinate, assign, and review the work of the Lodgeโ€™s employees

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Establish work schedules and daily procedures

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Resolve work-related problems and ensure guest satisfaction

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Prepare and submit progress and other reports

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and policies

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Order supplies and materials

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Ensure proper operation of reservation systems and equipment

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Arrange for maintenance and major repair work

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  Perform the same duties as workers supervised

ability to supervise: 1-2 people

terms of employment: permanent full-time; 40 hours per week

wage: salary of $1,000 per week ($25 per hour – based on the average of 40h per week)

start date: as soon as possible

employment conditions: morning, day, evening, weekend

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  the hours will vary depending on operational needs and the occupancy schedule of the Lodge

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  weekend and evening availability is required

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  work experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in Accommodation/Hospitality Industry, including housekeeping experience and staff supervision

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  personal suitability: team player, customer focus, effective interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, attention to detail, excellent customer service, problem-solving.

ยทย ย ย ย ย ย ย  other: experience using online reservation platforms such as WebRez, Airbnb, VRBO, QuickBooks and Microsoft Word
