Salter Pilon Architecture Inc. is a full-service architectural design firm located in Barrie, Ontario that has been in operation for more than 60 years.  Our project portfolio consists of multiple institutional and commercial building types that are designed with a contemporary approach and technical accuracy.  We are looking for someone to join our team in a full-time role and be part of our dynamic, welcoming, and fast paced work environment.  Salter Pilon Architecture has a position available for a highly motivated, outgoing, and proactive Architectural technologist.

Candidates should exhibit exemplary communication and organizational skills, with the ability to take initiative, prioritize daily tasks and have a strong ability to take charge and meet tight deadlines.

Job responsibilities :

Assist in design development
Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
Assist in preparing design, drawings and specifications

Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)
Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)
Analyze technical documents and reports
Construct architectural and display models
Ensure construction plans meet guidelines and specifications of building codes and other regulations
