Job Description
As the Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight
Supervise daily operations to maintain a clean, efficient, and welcoming environment
Coordinate service and kitchen teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
Monitor food quality, service standards, and customer satisfaction
Ensure compliance with Alberta health, food safety, and workplace safety regulations
Staff Leadership & Human Resources
Hire, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff
Foster a positive and productive workplace culture
Evaluate performance, provide coaching, and resolve workplace conflicts
Ensure adherence to employment standards and internal policies
Customer Service
Greet and engage with guests to ensure satisfaction
Address and resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
Promote a warm, friendly, and service-oriented atmosphere
Financial & Administrative Duties
Manage restaurant budget, monitor revenues, and control operational costs
Prepare reports on financial performance and develop strategies for growth
Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
Maintain accurate records for payroll, scheduling, and compliance
Marketing & Brand Representation
Contribute to local marketing efforts and promotional planning
Represent Coraβs values and service standards within the community
Requirements
Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent experience
Experience: 2 to less than 3 years in restaurant management or assistant management
Language: English
