Job Description
Job Overview:
We are looking for a caring, responsible, and dedicated Home Child Care Provider to join our family and provide attentive, in-home care for our children. The ideal candidate will be someone who creates a nurturing environment, plans engaging activities, and ensures the overall well-being of the children in a safe and supportive atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for children in employer’s residence.
Plan and organize age-appropriate activities such as games, crafts, and outings.
Foster children’s emotional well-being and support their social development.
Instruct children in personal hygiene and appropriate social behavior.
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks.
Assist children with homework and school-related activities.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment.
Keep daily records of activities and health information.
Accompany children to and from school, appointments, or other scheduled events.
Requirements:
Language: English
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum of 1 month to less than 7 months in a similar role.
Work Authorization: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
