Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to join our team. This role involves coordinating seminars and conferences, managing office tasks, and handling payroll administration. If you have excellent organizational skills, experience in administrative roles, and the ability to work on-site, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Arrange and coordinate conferences, and other events.
- Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences.
- Answer telephone calls and relay messages.
- Respond to electronic inquiries.
- Compile and analyze data, statistics, and other relevant information.
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory.
- Oversee payroll administration.
Requirements:
Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
1 to less than 7 months of relevant experience.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Knowledge of financial terminology is an asset.
Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or temporary resident of Canada, with a valid Canadian work permit.
