Job Description
CNC Tech Inc (see http://cnctechcanada.ca) located at 1550 Yorkton Court, Unit 2, Burlington, ON, L7P 5B7 provides sales, support and maintenance for CNC machines to a wide range of industries. We have a vacancy for a CNC Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Due to changing market conditions and an ever-increasing demand from our customers, we are expanding our product range and services in Toronto and surrounding areas.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with completing onsite CNC repairs at different plants across the GTA and Southwestern Ontario.
Duties to be performed
· Mechanical preventative and corrective maintenance on CNC machines
· Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings
· Mechanical repairs of CNC equipment such as: Spindle teardowns and rebuilds, machine geometry and machine tool alignments, head rebuilds, machine tool installation, spindle taper grinding, ball screw teardown and rebuilds
· Inspect and examine mechanical CNC equipment to detect and investigate irregularities and malfunctions
· Adjust CNC mechanical equipment and repair or replace defective parts
Education
· Completion of High School
Required Experience
· Experience repairing CNC machinery independently
· Ability to evaluate condition of new and damaged mechanical equipment and make recommendations for repair or replacement
· Excellent interpersonal skills
· Flexibility to travel within Canada as needed
· English is the language at the workplace

Wages and Benefits
· CAD$41 – $46 per hour / 40 hours per week
