Employer and Location: Ridgetechone Reinforcing Corp. is seeking one (1) experienced full-time Carpenter to complete residential and commercial projects at various jobsites throughout the Lower Mainland.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Handling heavy loads; Physically demanding; Bending, Crouching, Kneeling; Standing for extended periods.

Terms of Employment:

·        $34.65 per hour

·        Full-time 40 hours per week, overtime as required

·        4% vacation pay

·        Healthcare plan after 3 months

Job Duties:

·        Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to determine specifications and calculate requirements

·        Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools

·        Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials

·        Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.

Specific Skills and Qualifications:

·        Ability to work with hand and power carpentry tools and other construction equipment

·        Ability to assess situations and identify potential hazards
