Position: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Full-Time position: 30 hrs ~ 40 hrs/week, Permanent, Full time

Hourly Wage: $20/hour

Benefit: Extended Medical and Dental after 6 months of full-time employment

Requirements:

Education: Secondary Education

License : BC Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate

Experience: Experience in child care and completion of ECE assistant or related course

English: Able to communicate in English

Job Duties:

– Engage children in activities by such as storytelling and singing

– Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs for physical and social development of children

– Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods

– Assist with proper eating, clothing, and toilet habits

– Maintain child care equipment

– Submit reports or observations on children to supervisors

– Attend staff meetings for children progress or problems.
