Job Description:

We are looking for a General Manager to join our team. It is a full-time permanent position (30 to 40 hours/week), $102/hour, paid on a semi-monthly basis with 10 days of paid vacation. Job duties:

–     Define and execute the company’s overall strategic direction, ensuring alignment with market trends.

–     Oversee day-to-day operations, working closely with departmental heads to ensure smooth execution of business objectives and optimal performance of the platform.

–     Develop and implement a forward-looking technology roadmap, ensuring the VanPeople platform remains innovative and competitive in mobile and web applications.

–     Authorize budgets, allocate resources effectively, and establish key departments to support growth and operational excellence.

–     Recruit, train, and retain executive staff, delegating authority and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

–     Represent VanPeople in negotiations with advertisers, local businesses, and stakeholders, building strong relationships to drive business growth.

–     Monitor market trends and user engagement data to identify opportunities for expansion or improvement in services.

–     Act as the primary liaison with investors and business partners, clearly communicating the company’s progress, technology strategy, and financial performance.

Job requirements:

–     A university degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field;

–     Minimum 2 years of related work experience;

–     Strong leadership skills to manage multiple departments and teams

–     Language of work: Ability to communicate in English is required;
